Lowest Price

The Prices module allows you to automatically display the lowest price in the last 30 days through integration with the Price History module.

For the automatic lowest price display feature to work, the following must be active:

  1. Prices module (this module)
  2. Price History module (Prices Log)

The European Omnibus Directive requires e-shops to display the lowest price in the last 30 days for discounted products. This feature helps you meet this requirement.

  1. Go to WPify → WPify Woo
  2. Enable the Price History module
  3. Save changes

The module will automatically start recording product price changes.

2. Add a Custom Price of Type “Lowest price”

Section titled “2. Add a Custom Price of Type “Lowest price””
  1. Go to WPify → WPify Woo → Prices
  2. In the Custom prices section, click Add price
  3. Configure:
    • Price label: Lowest price in 30 days:
    • Price type: Lowest price in 30 days
    • When price display: If product is in sale
    • Price more info: (optional) According to the Omnibus Directive
  • Custom prices display location: After price outside price html
  1. The Price History module records every product price change
  2. When displaying a product, the module loads all records from the last 30 days
  3. It finds the lowest price from these records
  4. Displays it on the product page

You can also use the shortcode from the Price History module:

[wpify_woo_lowest_price]

This shortcode displays the lowest price in 30 days for the current product.

On the product page, the discount is displayed like this:

Original price: $50.00
Current price: $39.99
Lowest price in 30 days: $45.00 ℹ️

There are two ways to display information about the lowest price:

  • Displays only text/tooltip
  • Does not show the actual lowest price value
  • Suitable for general information
  • Displays the actual lowest price value
  • Updates automatically
  • Recommended for Omnibus Directive compliance
