Cart Discounts
Cart discounts apply a discount to the entire cart as a separate line item (negative fee), displayed in the totals with the rule name.
When to Use
Section titled “When to Use”- Discount on purchases over a certain amount
- Percentage discounts on the entire order
- Loyalty discounts for registered customers
- Discounts applied as a separate line item
5 Types of Cart Discounts
Section titled “5 Types of Cart Discounts”- Fixed cart discount — Fixed amount (e.g., $10)
- Percentage cart discount — Percentage of the subtotal (e.g., 15%)
- Fixed product price — Fixed price based on filters
- Fixed product discount — Fixed discount on filtered products
- Percentage product discount — Percentage off the value of filtered items
Step 1: Basic Settings

Pool System
Section titled “Pool System”The pool system is used only by product-based cart discount types (Fixed product price, Fixed product discount, Percentage product discount) — after application, the affected products are removed from the pool. Discounts calculated from the total cart value (Fixed cart discount, Percentage cart discount) do not deplete the pool.
Examples

- Type: Fixed cart: $5
- Condition: Subtotal >= $50

Progressive discounts
- Create multiple rules with different priorities and conditions
The plugin automatically calculates tax on the discount based on the rate associated with the products.
