API Settings

API settings connect the plugin to your ThePay 2.0 merchant account. You can find them at WPify → ThePay.

ThePay plugin settings

Enter your license key to activate the plugin and receive updates.

You can find these credentials in your ThePay administration panel under the Implementation section.

API credentials in plugin settings

Merchant IDYour unique merchant identifier provided by ThePay
API PasswordPassword for API authentication
Project IDIdentifier of your ThePay project
  1. Log in to the ThePay administration
  2. Navigate to the Implementation section
  3. Copy the Project ID, Merchant ID, and API Password
  4. Paste them into the corresponding fields in the plugin settings

After entering the credentials:

  1. Make sure the Environment is set to Test
  2. Save the settings
  3. Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Payments and enable the ThePay gateway
  4. Place a test order to verify the payment flow works correctly
  5. After successful testing, switch the Environment to Production and update credentials with production values
