Errors and Solutions

This guide contains the most common errors when using the WPify Woo Slovak Post plugin and steps to resolve them.

Pickup point picker does not appear in checkout

Cause: The Slovak Post points shipping method is not configured in the shipping zone, or JavaScript errors prevent the widget from loading.

Solution:

  1. Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping and verify that Slovak Post points is added to the relevant shipping zone
  2. Make sure the shipping zone matches the customer’s address
  3. Check for JavaScript errors in the browser console that may prevent the widget from loading
  4. Verify that the plugin is activated and the license is valid
Select Slovak Post pickup point — validation error at checkout

Cause: The customer selected the Slovak Post shipping method but did not choose a specific pickup point.

Solution: This is expected behavior — the customer must select a pickup point before placing the order. Make sure the pickup point picker widget is visible and functional (see the issue above if it is not).

Customer selected a pickup point but the address is not saved to the order

Cause: The Replace shipping address option is not enabled, so the shipping address remains unchanged.

Solution:

  1. Go to WooCommerce → Wpify Modules → Slovak Post
  2. Enable Replace shipping address
  3. The WooCommerce shipping address will now be replaced with the selected pickup point address
Pickup point details are not displayed in emails

Cause: The Replace shipping address option is enabled, so the pickup point details are already part of the shipping address and are not displayed separately.

Solution: This is expected behavior. When Replace shipping address is enabled, the shipping address in emails already contains the pickup point name and address. The separate pickup point section is only shown when this option is disabled.

Slovak Post shipping method is not available in checkout

Cause: The shipping method is not added to a shipping zone that matches the customer’s address, or no shipping zone matches.

Solution:

  1. Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping
  2. Verify that the Slovak Post points method is added to the correct shipping zone
  3. Check that the shipping zone’s regions match the customer’s shipping address (e.g. Slovakia)
  4. Verify that the shipping method is enabled (not disabled)
Plugin shows "Opps! ... requires a minimum PHP version of 8.1"

Cause: Your server is running a PHP version older than 8.1.

Solution: Contact your hosting provider and ask them to upgrade PHP to version 8.1 or higher.
