Shipping Methods
The plugin adds a GLS ParcelShop shipping method to WooCommerce. When a customer selects this method during checkout, a parcel shop picker widget with a map is displayed, allowing them to choose a GLS pickup point.
Adding the GLS ParcelShop Shipping Method
Section titled “Adding the GLS ParcelShop Shipping Method”- Go to WooCommerce -> Settings -> Shipping
- Select the shipping zone where you want to add the method (e.g. “Czech Republic”)
- Click Add shipping method
- Select GLS ParcelShop from the list and confirm with Add shipping method
- Click Edit on the newly added method
Configuring the Shipping Method
Section titled “Configuring the Shipping Method”In the shipping method settings you can configure:

| Title | The name displayed to customers in checkout (e.g. “GLS ParcelShop”, “Pickup at GLS point”) |
| Tax status | Whether shipping cost is taxable or not |
| Cost | The shipping cost. You can use WooCommerce cost formulas (e.g. fixed amount, or based on quantity) |
Save changes after configuring.
Multi-Country Support
Section titled “Multi-Country Support”The plugin supports GLS ParcelShop pickup points in the following countries:
- Czech Republic (CZ)
- Slovakia (SK)
- Slovenia (SI)
- Hungary (HU)
- Croatia (HR)
- Romania (RO)
To offer GLS ParcelShop in multiple countries, create a shipping zone for each country (or a zone covering multiple countries) and add the GLS ParcelShop shipping method to each zone. The parcel shop picker will automatically show pickup points available in the customer’s country.
How It Works in Checkout
Section titled “How It Works in Checkout”- The customer selects the GLS ParcelShop shipping method
- A parcel shop picker widget with a map appears
- The customer selects a pickup point from the map
- The selected pickup point name and address are displayed
- The order cannot be placed without selecting a pickup point — the checkout validates this
