Cash on Delivery

DPD supports sending shipments with cash on delivery, both in cash and in some cases with card payment.

Configure cash on delivery options in WooCommerce → Wpify Modules → DPD.

Cash on Delivery Payment Methods

Select which WooCommerce payment gateways should be treated as cash on delivery. Orders placed with these payment methods will be sent to DPD as COD shipments with cash collection.

Leave blank if you don’t use cash COD.

Card on Delivery Payment Methods

Select which WooCommerce payment gateways should be treated as card on delivery. Orders placed with these methods will be sent to DPD as COD shipments with card payment collection.

Leave blank if you don’t use card COD.

Card COD and Pickup Points

Some delivery methods or pickup points don’t support card payment. If you offer card COD, consider conditioning the display of this payment method only for supported shipping methods — for example using the WPify Woo Payment Conditions plugin or custom code.

How COD Works

1. A customer places an order using a payment gateway configured as COD
2. The plugin automatically marks the DPD shipment as a COD shipment
3. The COD amount is set to the order total
4. DPD courier collects the payment upon delivery (cash or card depending on configuration)

COD Fees

The plugin does not add COD fees to the shipping cost. To add a surcharge for COD, use an external plugin such as Pay for Payment for WooCommerce or custom code.
