Errors and Solutions

This guide contains the most common errors when using the WPify Woo Česká Pošta plugin and steps to resolve them.

Pickup point selection does not appear in checkout

Cause: The Balíkovna or Na poštu shipping method is not configured in the shipping zone, or the checkout does not support the widget.

Solution:

  1. Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping and verify that Balíkovna or Na poštu is added to the relevant shipping zone
  2. Make sure the shipping zone matches the customer’s address
  3. Check for JavaScript errors in the browser console that may prevent the widget from loading
  4. If using block checkout, verify that the plugin version supports it
"Select Balíkovna pickup point" or "Select Na poštu pickup point" validation error

Cause: The customer selected the Balíkovna or Na poštu shipping method but did not choose a specific pickup point.

Solution: This is expected behavior — the plugin validates that a pickup point is selected before the order can be placed. The customer must use the search widget to select a pickup point.

Customer selected a pickup point but the address is not saved

Cause: A JavaScript error prevented the pickup point data from being stored, or the form submission failed.

Solution:

  1. Check the browser console for JavaScript errors
  2. Verify the plugin is up to date
  3. Test with a default theme (e.g., Storefront) to rule out theme conflicts
  4. Check for plugin conflicts by temporarily disabling other plugins
Shipping address is not replaced with the pickup point address

Cause: The Replace shipping address option is not enabled for the module.

Solution:

  1. Go to WooCommerce → Wpify Modules → Balíkovna (or Na poštu)
  2. Enable Replace shipping address
  3. Save the settings
  4. New orders will have the shipping address replaced with the pickup point address
Pickup point details shown twice in emails

Cause: The Replace shipping address option is disabled, so the plugin shows the pickup point details as a separate section in addition to the original shipping address.

Solution: This is expected behavior when Replace shipping address is off. If you want the pickup point address to appear only once (as the shipping address), enable the Replace shipping address option.

CSV export is empty or contains only headers

Cause: No export fields are selected in the Podání Online settings.

Solution:

  1. Go to WooCommerce → Wpify Modules → Podání Online
  2. In the Fields in export section, toggle on the fields you want to include
  3. Save the settings
  4. Try the export again
CSV import into Czech Post fails

Cause: The exported fields do not match the format expected by Czech Post’s Podání Online system.

Solution:

  1. Check which columns Czech Post expects for your shipment type
  2. Go to WooCommerce → Wpify Modules → Podání Online and adjust the Fields in export to match
  3. Make sure the field order matches Czech Post’s requirements
  4. Re-export and try importing again
COD value is not included in the export

Cause: The payment gateway used by the order is not configured as a COD gateway in the settings.

Solution:

  1. Go to WooCommerce → Wpify Modules → Podání Online
  2. In the COD gateways section, enable the payment gateway used for COD orders
  3. Make sure the Cash on delivery value field is enabled in the export fields
  4. Save and re-export
Podání Online metabox is not displayed for the order

Cause: The Podání Online module is not enabled.

Solution:

  1. Go to WooCommerce → Wpify Modules → Česká Pošta
  2. Enable the Podání online module
  3. Save the settings
  4. The metabox will appear on all order detail pages
Can I use only one of the modules?

Yes, each module (Balíkovna, Na poštu, Podání Online) is independent and can be enabled or disabled separately in WooCommerce → Wpify Modules → Česká Pošta.

Does the plugin support block checkout?

Yes, both the Balíkovna and Na poštu pickup point pickers work with the WooCommerce block checkout (Cart/Checkout blocks).

Can I send multi-package shipments?

Yes, use the Packages section in the Podání Online metabox in the order detail. Each package gets its own row in the CSV export with individual weight, value and insurance.

What delivery methods are available in Podání Online?

The plugin supports: Do Ruky (DR), Na poštu (NP), Balíkovna (NB), Doporučený dopis (RR), and Doporučený balík (BA). You can set a default and override per order.

How many Czech Post service codes are supported?

The plugin supports 60+ Czech Post service codes covering all common services — from COD and registered delivery to SMS/email notifications, size codes, and special handling options. See the full list in the Podání Online settings.
